Colglazier Industries, Inc. is based in California and is the parent company of The Solar Power Store and is affiliated with Alternative Energy Services, Inc.. Our mission is to provide an array of products and services for the alternative energy industry. Through our affiliates and relationships with major manufacturers we can provide the best pricing and service for any residential or commercial application. Our combined experience in the industry spans more than 30 years.

Solar energy is a clean environmentally friendly source of power. Now is the time to take advantage of this abundant resource. In 40 minutes of daylight the sun releases upon the earth the amount of energy that is consumed by the entire population of the planet in one year. Each day more solar energy falls to the earth than the total amount of energy the planet's 6 billion in- habitants would consume in 27 years. Currently we harness about 1% of this energy.

Photovoltaic or PV systems burn no fuel and have no moving parts-they are clean and silent. As we become more aware of greenhouse gases and their detrimental effects on our planet, clean energy alternatives like PV become more important than ever.

We design the architecture for the entire solar power system, determine your kilowatt usage, and research all incentive opportunities. California is one of the more favorable states to offer incentives to build an alternative energy source. We file all the necessary paper work for rebates and tax credits available to the owner of the alternative energy source. We will design the entire system based on the incentives that are offered to you. A major benefit of having an alternative energy source is the ability to bank credits based upon a surplus of energy produced. You could end up with a zero bill at the end of your billing cycle.

If you live an area in the world with a category 3 wind zone, you could be a prime candidate for wind power. We can determine if you are a prime candidate for wind power by researching the data we have available. We will then compare this with the zoning laws in your area to conclude if this is a prudent investment for you. We sell a wide variety of wind generators from small turbines all the way up to large commercial grade turbines. Below are a couple examples of the types of turbines we sell. We are at the verge of a major wind turbine revolution.

If you own property near a river or large water flow, you may want to look into hydro as an alternative power source. These turbines mount on a cement column and generate electricity with the amount of water flow. Heavy water flow equals high electrical volume. We carry Harris Hydro 2 turbines as well as many other manufacturers.
